[2023] puma x rhuigi 02

Rhuigi Villaseñor expands his homage to NY with a new drop that seeks the meeting places of a vibrant society. Walt "Clyde" Frazier, the Knicks player of the seventies and true symbol of NY, and his sneakers, which have become the image of early hip hop, are the focus of her new collection.

Rhuigi Villaseñor's particular vision of New York has been reflected in each of his releases with Puma. Born in the Philippines and raised in Los Angeles, his discovery of NY mixes cinematic references, those of a lover of the city even without having visited it, the struggle with LA as an American cultural center and the experiences of Rhuigi already settled in fashion. For the new drop, the spark comes from the neighborhoods.

Barbershops, a meeting point for several generations, become country clubs through a collection with shields, pinstripes and premium leathers. In the center, two special versions of Puma Clyde, "White" and "Inky Blue".
